RBI Security Guard Eligibility Criteria 2021

Candidates seeking to apply for the position of Security Guard at RBI must meet the criteria set by the conducting authority. Check the RBI Security Guard Eligibility Criteria mentioned below:

RBI Security Guard Eligibility Criteria
Qualification	10th Standard/SSC/Matriculation passed from a recognized Education Board. Ex-servicemen from outside the recruitment zone and who have passed the qualifying exam either before or after leaving the military service are eligible. Applicants should apply only to the Recruitment Office that falls under the Regional Jurisdiction of their residence.  Should be an undergraduate Ex-servicemen with 15 years of experience, considered as graduates, can apply (Must be mentioned in the Soldier’s Discharge Book and supported by necessary documents)
Age	As of 1st January 2021, the candidate must be of 25 years (28 for OBC and 30 for SC/ST as per the Government of India relaxation rules) is further relaxed to the extent of the number of years of service in the Armed Forces plus 3 years, subject to a maximum upper age limit of 45 years.  The date of birth as reported in the school leaving certificate shall be final in the event of a dispute concerning age. Upper age limit will be 45 years for all the categories.
Experience	Ex-servicemen with proper military background and experience of handling arms and ammunition in the military
Ineligibility	Orthopedically handicapped/Hearing Impaired/Visually Handicapped/disabled ex-servicemen/declared medically unfit and cannot undertake the duties properly will not be eligible.

RBI Security Guard Selection Process 2021

• In the online test, candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of marks. They will then have to appear for a physical examination which will be of a qualifying type. A merit list based on the marks scored in the online examination shall be drawn up having applicants qualifying for the physical test.
• These provisional shortlisted candidates will have to successfully complete document verification, biometric verification, and any other procedure.
• They will also have to undergo a medical examination for pre-recruitment. Based on all these mandatory procedures, the final selection will be made.
